Conscript is a game set during World War, in 1916, which aims to display the horrors of war. It takes inspirations from survival horror classics, like the first Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. Conscript will blend all the punishing mechanics of older horror games into a cohesive, tense, and unique experience.

Players will take a role of a French soldier who is searching for his missing brother during the Battle of Verdun, and navigate through twisted trenches, overrun forts, and cross no-mans-land to find him. Scavenge for limited supplies, solve complex puzzles and fight for survival during the mankind’s most brutal and horrifying conflict.

Conscript has been in development since early 2017 by a single developer, and it’s finally set to release next month.
