THQ Nordic Showcase 2024
THQ Nordic has announced its annual digital showcase on August 2, 2024 with new announcements and project updates.

THQ Nordic has announced its annual digital showcase on August 2, 2024 with new announcements and project updates.

THQ Nordic Digital Showcase will kick of at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT / 8 PM BST / 9 PM CEST / 10 PM EEST on Friday, August 2.

“Join us for new announcements, exciting updates on Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II and much more.”

THQ Nordic’s subsidiary, HandyGames will start off with a pre-show to give us taste of their titles, followed by the main show which will serve up a whole host of game announcements and updates on already announced games.

More information will be published soon.

What To Expect

Last showcase was on August 11, it lasted about 27 minutes and it featured 12 games of which 5 were released since then, including Alone in the Dark, South Park: Snow Day!, Outcast: A New Beginning, Last Train Home and Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy. It also featured an update on Way of the Hunter.

The games from the last year that are expect to get updates include Wreckreation from Three Fields Entertainment, Titan Quest II from Grimlore Games, Space for Sale from Mirage Game Studios, Tempest Rising from Splitgate Ironworks, Gothic Remake from Alkimia Interactive and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin from Black Forest Games.

Gothic Remake Collector’s Edition was recently revealed, so it’s no surprise it will be part of the show.

Meanwhile, Purple Lamp has announced Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed earlier this year at Nintendo Direct. It’s scheduled for 2024 so a release date at the showcase makes sense.

HandyGames also hosted a pre-show last year, which lasted for around 13 minutes and featured updates on some of its games. They currently have action/adventure A Rat’s Quest: The Way Back Home and action roguelite Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse in development, which will most likely get updates at the show.

THQ Nordic also promises new announcements in addition to previously announced projects. It is expected the runtime will be similar to last year’s show.
