Nintendo has announced that its next Indie World showcase will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 4 PM CET.
The showcase will be roughly 20 minutes long and will feature announcements as well as updates on indie games headed to Nintendo Switch in 2024.
The most recent Indie World Showcase took place on November 14, 2023. During this approximately 20-minute presentation, Nintendo unveiled new announcements and updates related to indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch platform, showcasing 11 upcoming games, and additional 7 games through short reels.
Last time Nintendo showcased games like: A Highland Song, Backpack Hero, Blade Chimera, Braid: Anniversary Edition, Core Keeper, Death Trick: Double Blind, Enjoy the Diner, Heavenly Bodies, Howl, Moonstone Island and Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition.
In this one, fans are hoping for long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong to show up with release news, as the game has been recently rated in several countries and received an Xbox store page.

Reminder that this is an indie showcase, so don’t expect any Nintendo games to make an appearance. The show is the same length as the last time, so it’s expected it will feature about a dozen games again. Earlier this year rumors were making rounds that Nintendo is preparing for Switch 2 launch this year, but has been reportedly pushed back to 2025. We won’t be getting a look at Switch 2 launch titles anytime soon.
Zone of Gaming will be covering all announcements and updates from the show.
