A survival horror game in A Quiet Place universe announced by Stormind Games and Saber Interactive, titled A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam in 2024.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a spin-off singleplayer horror adventure game inspired by critically acclaimed blockbuster movie franchise, A Quiet Place, which follows an invasion of deadly creatures. This game comes from studio behind Remothered games, another horror adventure series. In The Road Ahead, players will take a role of a young woman who must endure a treacherous apocalypse in the midst of interpersonal family conflicts, all while coming to terms with her own inner fears.
A video game adaptation of A Quiet Place was first announced in October 2021 and was supposed to launch in 2022, but nearly 3 years later the game has finally been unveiled.
Easiest way to describe The Road Ahead is to say it’s something like Alien: Isolation, where players will need to remain silent, sneak, hide and avoid the horrific creatures who hunt using only sound. You will need to navigate the new, eerily tranquil, post-apocalyptic landscape, and discover the path by observing the environment and leveraging the tools in your surroundings.
Not much is shared beyond that, but with a 2024 date we we can expect more information very soon.
